Since I write about every destination I visit in the form of a series of posts—allowing all the beauty and experiences to be thoroughly captured across multiple articles—I’ve decided to take a slightly different approach when it comes to things to do in Serbia, my home country. Living here and knowing it so well gives me a unique perspective. No matter where my travels take me around the globe, I always cherish the joy of returning to Belgrade.
So, I will try to post about a specific destination in the country in a particular blog section called Things to do in Serbia. Each post will include historical sites, natural beauty, must-see places, and other useful travel information to inspire your adventures.
This initiative feels even more relevant given the former Coronavirus situation, as most of us have spent our summer holidays exploring our own countries. At the same time, a lot of misleading information has started circulating online. However, considering that this blog closely collaborates with the National Tourism Organization of Serbia, you can trust it as a reliable source for discovering the best things to do in Serbia.
Links to the articles will be available below. Don’t miss out on any posts in this section—SIGN UP for the mailing list, and you’ll receive notifications about every new post straight to your inbox!
Now, let’s set off to explore this beautiful country, renowned for its warm hospitality, rich history, and mouthwatering cuisine. Pack your bags—Serbia, here we come!
I also want to take a moment to thank everyone who has contributed to the Things to do in Serbia section by suggesting amazing places they’ve heard about or personally recommend. I will do my best to visit them all! I hope you’ll continue sharing your ideas and staying in touch via email or social media, so we can keep traveling together through Glimpses’ posts. If, on the other hand, you’d like to WORK WITH GLIMPSES—whether to promote your country, city, tours, or accommodation—please don’t hesitate to contact me at danijela@glimpses-of-the-world.com. I’d love to hear from you!
