Ionian architecture in Greece Glimpses of the World

Ionian Coast Greece

Charming little towns with the Venetian heritage, colorful facades, lavish greenery, and some breathtaking beaches are the reason tourists flock to the Ionian coast of Greece. This part of the country is totally different than the rest of it. On the other hand, Ionian Islands are the most popular Greek islands after Cyclades and Crete.

But, this series is not just about the islands. Given that we are not that far from some of the best landmarks of Greece, this is a perfect opportunity to explore a part of the northern Greek province of Epirus. Need I say that Meteora is only a 3-hour-drive from the coast? And how about that I was able to cross the famous river that leads to the Underworld according to Greek mythology?

So, welcome to the series about the Ionian coast.
