TRAVEL TO BARCELONA AND LISBON

Have a cup of tea and enjoy reading about traveling to Barcelona and Lisbon, since we will be hopping from one side of the Old Continent (where we were during the last blog series – in Cappadocia Turkey), to the opposite one! Barcelona and Lisbon, here we come!

To tell you the truth, I wasn’t sure how to write about the Barcelona/Lisbon experiences of mine, since there are so many things online about these two European cities, right? All of us have those photos from Park Guell or Sagrada Familia, and we all strolled the streets of Lisbon in that yellow tram. But then again – Gaudi was one of the main reasons I even went to Barcelona! And the charm of those narrow, steep, cobblestone streets of Lisbon is something I will always remember!

And so, I have decided to write one anecdote accompanied by an article in a full series and to try to describe the MY impression of these two amazing cities. There is a saying (very true in my opinion), that “the truth lies in the eye of the beholder”.

So, this time I invite you to see Barcelona and Lisbon through my eyes and to meet Antoni Gaudi and Vasco da Gama the way I have “met” them. After this series, you will know exactly what to see and what not to miss!

About half of the travel series is dedicated to Spain’s Barcelona and the other half to Portugal’s Lisbon.

(All the links are to be found below.)

The only reason that one comes after the other is that I have arrived to Barcelona first, flying to Lisbon five days later, and then going back to Barcelona to catch a flight home. The stories are thus in chronological order.

If on the other hand, you would like to be notified when the next post is published, you just need to SIGN UP to the blog’s mailing list and I will send you an email when the new travel story is up. It’s simple and free!

Ready? Well then, let’s go and visit these two amazing cities together!
