Sit back and enjoy reading about my Barcelona Lisbon travel adventure, since we will be visiting two of the most beautiful cities of the Old Continent. One is the capital of the northern region of Spain (Catalonia) and the other is the capital of Portugal.

Barcelona and Lisbon, here we come!

My Barcelona Lisbon Trip

To tell you the truth, I wasn’t sure how to write about my Barcelona Lisbon experience, since there are already so many blogs about these two European cities. All of us have the photos from Park Guell or Sagrada Familia, and we all strolled the streets of Lisbon in the yellow tram. But then again – Gaudi was one of the main reasons I even went to Barcelona. And the charm of those narrow, steep, and cobblestone streets of Lisbon is something I will always remember.

And so, I decided to write a full travel series in the form of an anecdote followed by an article and try to describe MY impressions of Barcelona Lisbon, the two amazing cities. There is a saying that “the truth lies in the eye of the beholder”.

Travel from Barcelona to Lisbon

So, this time I invite you to see Barcelona and Lisbon through my eyes and meet Antoni Gaudi and Vasco da Gama the way I have “met” them. After this series, you will know exactly what to see and what not to miss.

About half of the travel series is dedicated to Spain’s Barcelona and the other half to Portugal’s Lisbon.

(All the links are to be found below.)

The only reason that one comes after the other in the Barcelona Lisbon series is because I arrived in Spain first, traveling from Barcelona to Lisbon five days later, and then going back to Barcelona to catch a flight home. The stories are thus in chronological order.

If you would like to be notified when the future travel series starts, SIGN UP to the blog’s mailing list and you will get an email when the new story is up. It’s simple and free!

Ready? Let’s go and visit these two amazing cities together!
